Leicester City vs Liverpool

Top of the table Leicester meet Liverpool .. [NOT ON UK TV]

Leicester City lead the Premier League with 15 games to go in the 2015-16 season, a run-in which is set to begin with Liverpool’s annual visit to the King Power Stadium

Even in a recent run of subpar results (just two wins in five), Leicester have managed to avoid defeat in five straight in the PL (their last league defeat came at the hands of Liverpool on Boxing Day). Six full months into the season, and Leicester have lost just two league games on the season; only Tottenham Hotspur’s three league defeats comes close to matching the Foxes’ astonishing record.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have won just four points from their last four league games (one win, one draw), and have fallen even further off the pace of a red-hot Tottenham side which is currently the PL’s in-form side. If not for the Reds’ wild and wacky 5-4 victory over Norwich City a week and a half ago, the gap from 10th (where they would now reside) to fourth would be a full 10 points.

Liverpool to do what they did the last time - match the table toppers man for man in a 4-4-2 and press them high up the pitch.

    edit - the team

Confirmed #LFC team to face @LCFC: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Lucas, Lallana, Milner, Firmino.
Confirmed #LFC substitutes against @LCFC: Ward, Toure, Benteke, Allen, Ibe, Flanagan, Teixeira.

    2-2
Or maybe a shock giant killing and Liverpool to sneak it

This really could go either way, I think pool will lose 2-1though, not playing too well, not scoring goals, Leicester seem to be over their rocky patch.

Have Leicester had any injuries this season? They seem to put out the same side pretty much every game.

    2-1 Liverpool.

Either 1 or 2-0 to the home side. Small bets on both those correct scores (no cash out option)

Just don't think Liverpool are set up to score tonight

I know we give out about Moreno but he must be a nightmare for any full back. He constantly gets forward.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    How is that a free?

A nightmare for a full back yet a centre halves dream. He's brutal.

I'd say Lallana loves coming up to a roundabout in the car. Probably spends hours going around in a f*cking circle.

    Give Mignolet another five years.

    And another one.
