    Has anybody tried this?
    I spotted it in my local supermarket but the €12.99 price tag for a 750ml bottle put me off.

    That's steep, I thought Dunnes were doing 4 500ml bottles for €9 recently. Lovely stuff although I prefer their normal stout.

    Definitely worth trying once. I got a few bottles at €12.50 each over Christmas. The cork is awkward enough to get out of some bottles though.

    a lovely smooth stout! it is a special/seasonal so thats why you're paying a bit more. also high enough ABV I think. well worth getting 1 bottle anyway while there are still some left :)

    Tbh, I'd say don't bother. The beer is nice enough, but nothing special for that price. Imo last year's edition was far better.

    Bear in mind, it's a seasonal offering. It's worth trying I think, even if the price is a little steep.

    It's too expensive for what it is. Imported beer that has had a lot more time and effort put in (i.e. is more "special") can be had for less. Someone is taking the mick on this one imho.
