I am not getting near my ''Up to speed''?

I am currently on a 100mb plan with Vodafone, and they say I can get up to 100mb down and 20mb up, but on a good day I get 4 down and 0.3 up, normally it is anywhere between 1-2 down, 0.2 up.

Anyone have reasons to why this is happening and how I can fix it?

    Ethernet

Well, I have my router in a different part of my house but I use a wifi booster and hook it up to my PC to get an ethernet, if that makes any difference.

    Yes, it really does

Ethernet direct to the modem and check how it performs

I done that and I had a noticeable improvement in my ping, nothing major, My download and upload speeds remained the same however.

Vodafone always label their package as up to 100Mb where the rest will use 7, 8, 24 and 100 and quote the actual prequal value. Very misleading IMO.

My bet is you've got a 3Mb ADSL line.

Pop your line number in there and post back the results.

Probably a horribly congested exchange. 3G or 4G are likely faster.
