What's the highest machine you have?
A JCB needs 13 foot to allow the back arm in.
If its for storing round bales , make it 12 foot, then you can stand 3 on their ends high.

Tractor 4600, buying the rsj second hand and that is the height of them, they are galvanised and I was thinking of maybe making 2bays a tank with a 10-6 slat. 8 foot concrete wall around the shed with the 2 foot 8 left open on top. This will all come down to price. What do you think, any what it would cost me

Just watch the Planning Permission. The exemptions are wiped out in many locations due to proximity to conservation areas etc.
