Hi all, I am considering getting a CCTV kit after some local break ins.Looking for motion detection, night vision etc. I was considering a PCI card for a PC as I have loads to f PC parts lying around but the CCTV kit appears to be just as cost effective Would this be a good brand.…

Two things jump out at me there.

4 x 20m Camera Leads (see Accessories for extra leads e.g. CAB10, 20, 40, 80m)

These leads are very short. I would be presuming these cameras are POE so you would be better running cat5/6 cable and crimping at the required lenght.

Hard drive 500GB
Too small for 4 1.3 MP cameras. Our min here would be 2TB.
