I am a staff nurse interested in doing the public health nursing course, and I have a few questions for anyone that may have done this course.Firstly,on completion of the course I understand you get a 2 year contract with the HSE but they decide where to place you,and if you domt go then you owe the HSE the fees and salary you were paid during the course.Have you any say in where your placed or can they really send you somewhere far away to work if you are settled with your family elsewhere?and also can you do the course paying for it yourself or is it all HSE sponsored places?i.e therefore if you paid for it yourself could they really have control over where you work?
    Thank you in advance ☺
