I know it's not the best table saw around but picked one of these up yesterday reduced from €120 to €60 in lidl maynooth there was another 5 left. I've been in lidl kilcock since and they didn't have any so it may just be in maynooth. It's the table saw they had during the summer.

Clue was in the name really :)

I can't decide whether to get the saw on Thursday or wait for a sliding one.

I've had one of these table saws for a while, does the job.. I've used it loads.

As for the mitre saw.. wait for a sliding one, I had a non sliding one at first. Changed to a sliding one after a few weeks, will drive you mad when it comes to cutting larger pieces of timber..

What size sheets have you been able to cut with it?

I bought one a few years back. Nasty bit of kit. ripped about 50 sheets of 3/4 ply . Lots of thing broke off and stopped sliding around.

    In the skip now.

I haven't used it to cut down large sheets ... Whenever I'm building something I tend to get it cut to size in BnQ etc.

    I've used it for 2x4 3/4" ply/mdf and smaller..

Bought one last year for the full price. It was well worth the money at 120, its a steal at 60.

I had a go at putting it together today, I've never seen so many nuts and bolts in all my life, i will say it looks like a great buy for €60

lol,Did you actually rip 50 sheets with that thing? These tools arent even built for that kind of use.Did you use the same blade the whole way through?

50 sheets of 3/4 ply would give any saw whether it be DeWalt or Makita a good run for their money, blade included.

These are crap unless your doing very little or no work there ok I had one before put down a laminate floor at home and then only cut a few rips then went to cut down a piece or arcatrave mother cries enough.

The blades are poor the fences move there no good 3 warranty I got a replacment sold it on donedeal for 80 quid took a hit of 40 lesson learned don't but power tools in lidl.

I have to disagree. I have bought a powerwasher, sds drill, circular saw, anglegrinder & cordless hedgecutter from Lidl & I am pleased with all of them.

Einhell are an ok DIY brand, never expected pro quality for the price but never had a bother with them either.

Screwfix have one for €70 +p&p, or maybe you need something else there to get free postage.

Homebase have been selling them for €43 since Christmas, still one there on last Friday in Northwood branch. Xtreme brand, two year guarantee to boot.

well i have my neighbor had many Einhell tools hes at best a light DIYer but loves to have his shed full of tools looks good.his small grinder went after a few uses he also had bother with a chain saw on the first day he used it,he brought it back to the hardware the lads there were telling they stopped stocking Einhell or as they call the brand ''inhell''.

but your right buy cheap you rubbish.

Some parkside tools are einhell not all. Some of the parkside stuff in the past has been good quality the the proportion of good to bad has decreased dramatically over the years.

Pfft, with all the chinese ****e around now they'd be right. If you look inside a lot of the power tools they have plastic bushings, plastic bearings, soft brushes that are only a few mm longs, inadequate cooling, inadequate lubrication, inadequate windings in the motors. They are designed to last about 5 hours and thats enough to get them through the warranty period or until the person loses the receipt for the vast majority of customers.
