Plumber Recommendations (or where to find one)

    I know you're not supposed to name specific companies but can anyone tell me if there's some sort of website I can get recommendations from, a sort of TripAdvisor but for tradesmen?

    We had a guy out last year to fit a tap and he tried to do it without switching the water off. Now our heating is playing up and the guys that were supposed to come out to look at it never showed up, never even called to say they wouldn't be here. We used them last year for something else and they did the same but did come the next day and their work was fine but that's twice they've been no shows and I don't really want to give them the work when it looks like we might need the whole system replaced. It just seems really difficult to find a decent company.

    So yeah, as I said, not looking for individual names, just to be pointed in the direction of a site with ratings or reviews or something like that.

    You're really gonna have to post your location of you want reccomendations. Then somebody can pm you a companys name
