Started TUS sceme, rent allowance not arrived

    I started a TUS scheme a few weeks ago and the rent allowance payment didn't arrive yesterday. I'm assuming its been suspended due to me taking part in the scheme although that's not supposed to happen, I'm actually coming out with e20 less than I was before.

    Tried ringing the local rents unit this morning but couldn't get through and went to the local intreo center and was told they don't handle rent allowance claims there. Called me TUS team leader and he said he'll do what he can.

    But what can I do in the meantime ? Rent is due on Monday and I'm way short.

    Been honest not a lot you can do till you talk to the central rents department ,I'd let your landlord know your going to be late with the rent on Monday morning

    I received a letter for the tus programme and i was wondering how much extra i would get if i took part? im 19 and only get 100 euro a week. any ideas?
