Chopper flying low around d8

    Anyone any idea why theres a helicopter flying around low at the moment around the canal in the Rathmines Portobello area?

    No idea, but it was the same yesterday (and possibly the day before too, I can't remember).

    Army heli going into the barracks? Normally circles 2-3 times before landing.

    Looked like an army one alright, never seen one so low in the area tho. Its still hovering around

    See them regular enough during the day. Sometimes if there is 2, one will hover while the other is on the ground, swap positions and leave together.

    Was thinking i was hearing 2 of them so that would make sense.
