Hi, LG TV packed in after less than 4 years so I need a replacement. Budget is around 500 euro or so (can go a little higher for a good deal) and I'm looking for a Smart LED, screen size around 37 upwards. Would be interested in any open box/display models if there are any going. Thanks.

hI Spillcoe, thanks for the post and apologies for the delay in getting back to you

The only model we would have open box close to that would be the Panasonic TX40c300 - http://www.richersounds.ie/cssearch.aspx?searchterm=40c300 - This is the last of this particular model. We could do that for you at £239/€339 with £6.99 for next day delivery

For a new model around the €500 mark there are a few worth looking at

    LG42LF580 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201293-42lf580v.aspx at €449
    Sony KDL40w705 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201289-bravia-kdl40w705cbu.aspx at €529
    Samsung 43J5500 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201304-ue43j5500.aspx

Of these picture-wise I'd say the Sony just has the edge on the Samsung, but its only a 40" as opposed to the Samsung 43", but on overall spec they are very similar

Have a look at the above and let me know how you get on, or if you have any other queries

Hi Brian, thanks for the reply. Can you confirm the warranty on these as well please? I want to be covered this time seeing as my last TV didn't last that long. I'll have a look at these and get back to you.

    Thanks for your help

Hi Brian, I've more or less made my mind up on the TV so will give a call. I just wanted to ask about a TV bracket as well though. It's not for this TV but for a 26-28 inch and I need full motion. I couldn't see anything like this on your website.
Is there anything you can recommend?
    thanks

    Hi Spillcoe.

The following will take up to a 27" but if the mountings line up I would say it would take a little larger as I would usually go by the bracket will support. (In smaller screens anyway).
Sanus SF213 priced at 69.99 Euro

Let me know what you think.

Thanks - just to confirm, does this one allow vertical movement? The place I have the tv it will need to be moved up/down.

HI Spillcoe, when you say vertical movement...? It will pull out straight from the wall, and will tilt down and swivel if that's what you mean?
It won't allow you to adjust height-wise
