New Ford Fiesta Accelerator Noise

    Hi.

    My Mum picked up her 2016 Ford Fiesta last week and everything was fine. Sunday morning I was dropping her to work and every time I pressed the accelerator it made this weird sort of rattling noise. By the time I got her to work, about 5 minutes drive,lots of lights, roundabouts, and changing of gears, it had stopped. When I went to pick her up that evening it was fine. Monday morning when she was going to the shops it was doing it again. By the time she got home it had stopped.

    We were going to take it to the dealership but realised that by the time we would get it there, about 20-25 minutes drive, it would have stopped.

    Anyone had a similar problem or have any ideas of what it could be?

    Nope. Did it first as I was reversing out of the drive. Then did it as I went into first, second etc. and after a few times it stops.

    Is it 1 litre or 1.25 ?? The new 1 litre is rattley enough as its only a three cylinder.
