Nascar - where to watch in Ireland?

Would anyone here know of a website that shows the Nascar races free or paid for? I found a suggestion for premiersports .tv but they only show to UK residents apparently. I checked Setanta Sports but it looks like they only show F1!!

Not that you were asking, I'll just mentioned the elephant in the room anyway!!! Boards.ie is not the place to get information about receiving free illegal streams etc. It's against charter rules among other ethical and moral aspects ;P. Whether there is a paid Nascar pass, I haven't looked at anything like that but you might hit a geo-lock location stumbling block. Let us know if you find something like that which is legitimate!

If you own a TV and have sat or cable, Nascar will be shown live on Setanta Sports 1 usually. Not sure who has the rights this year so best wait and see. If you do not have a subscription to the sports package it is on (Setanta or Sky Sports) you will not be able to receive it legitimately from what I know. If you have Virgin Media, and the racing is on the Setanta package, you'll get race highlights a couple of days later on Setanta Ireland (provided the schedule isn't busy for the channel).

I just found setanta do show it but a years subscription prices are ridiculous. Any alternatives!?

If you're willing to wait a week after the race, NASCAR were uploading full VoDs of the races to their YouTube channel region-free last year which I presume is set to continue this year.

Yeah i noticed that on youtube recently. Hopefully it will continue!!

google drakulastream.eu and it should pull up something called batman stream ( formerly drakula stream ) its a legal live streaming service . i live in the carribean and use it to watch all the f1 stuff on sky before watching the race live in HD on my satellite . now... having said all this, when you try to view, they bombard you with all the usual attempts to get you to download stuff and sell you stuff... don't do any of that... wait out the ads and ultimately you will get to the free video. it will be standard def ... the HD stuff is all subscription which i don't know if is some sort of scam. it works brilliantly for me here. they do all sports but some streams and events work and others don't. i use it to watch all the moto gp practices and q. let me tell you... if i could get a sky subscription here , i would put up a dish just for their coverage. i think they do a great job. because i am new, the system wouldn't let me post the url. if you have trouble finding it , pm me and ill send it to you.

Daytona 500 is on Setanta now. Free View.

If you have access to Premier Sports they are showing the Daytona 500 for free. Normally a subscription channel bit not for this. Sky Channel 428. Saw this on twitter. Don't have Sky myself!

I have UPC and it's not free view on Setanta 1. I checked out Freesat too but the frequency is scrambled. I reckon if you're a Sky customer it is only opened for basic Sky subscribers.
