    Hi all,

Would the cost of a young farmer to complete the green cert be allowable as a trade expense in his own tax return? Have tried searching plenty of sources but to no avail. Another line of thought that I had was maybe that tax relief could be claimed through the tuition fee credit but the green cert does not appear on the list of approved courses.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

I don't know what the cert is , but generally if the expense is incurred wholly and exclusively for your trade it is allowable
