What have the people of after hours been up so far today?

I have been up since half five this morning to be in Dublin for half seven. I had ice hockey training and the club seems to be growing every weekend

    What's this Facetweet?

Got up, had breakfast, went to mass, met friends for coffee, home, read some of a book, 6km walk, now lighting the fire and dinner is being prepared.

Want an update post dining? There's a whole night's TV to report on too, I'd imagine.

I did a big washing, took the dog to the beach, fixed an air compressor, lit the fire and the read the ramblings of a cranky old man on boards.

    Yay! I made a difference! :D

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Lil lie-in until 9am, got up, showered, tended to the pooch then dropped her over to my mam's for the day, went to work for a couple of hours this morning, had lunch with friends, doing a spot of housework now, then hanging out with the boyfriend later. We're going to visit a friend's puppy for a few hours, pick my dog back up, then dinner and movie :)

    I like Sundays.

Friends came over, played indoor football with all the kids and made Rocky Road together.

They've gone now. Might go for a walk in a bit, as I have not been outside the door yet today.

I went to an under 12s football match. Went to a bike shop and spent a Fcuk load of money. Went and gone my phone fixed (for the second time this week), went and did the shopping, and then I broke down on the M50. Which was nice. Then the nice man in a big van came and brought me home. Now I'm drinking tea and feeling sorry for myself and wishing I hadn't spent all that money on bicycle stuff cos now I'll have to spend it on getting my car fixed!

Made dinner, fed the kids, walked the kids, cleaned up after the kids and now going to put those kids to bed. Nothing spectacular in that, you may say, but seeing as I have no kids, this has been a very, very tiring/trying day. Sunday used to be a day of rest for me...

I had a fairly miserable day. It started off poor upon discovering that the delightful deli girl, who I fancy quite a lot, wasn't working today. She's so lovely that she always puts a smile on my face. In her absence, I needed this chicken fillet roll to put a smile on my face instead. It didn't. Your one didn't stuff the roll properly so I had to spread the bits out correctly when I got back.

"F*ck it," I said. "Watching Arsenal beat Chelsea later on will compensate for the ominous start to the day." Within 18 minutes it became obvious that wouldn't be the case. I love Arsenal but I decided against watching the second half. With Mertesacker's sending off, and that horrendously-made roll, I just wasn't up for it. Instead, I went upstairs and had a ****, whilst keeping an eye on the score. I was finished by the 80th minute but I still wasn't arsed watching the remainder of it. F*ck them. And Mertesacker.

Things weren't going my way, but a Chinese always makes me feel better, as it does with everyone:

"Hi can I order a delivery please?"
"Sure what can I get you?"
"Can I get a portion of plain spare ribs and...."
"Sorry we're out of ribs this evening."
"Alright I'll ring you back in two minutes."

Never rang her back. I had my heart set on ribs. F*ck her. And Mertesacker. And the manager in Spar who decided my unofficial bird wouldn't be working today. F*ck them all.

I got a pizza instead, because there's no other Chinese near me, and the chef must've thought I said "I want you to break the world record for the amount of jalopenos on a 12-inch pizza please." You could barely see the f*cking cheese. I'm no stranger to jalopenos so I'm all too aware of the fact that I'll have the sorest anus in Dublin in about an hour's time.

All in all a good day.

I woke up in my friend's tiny flat. Headache kicked in. I pushed him out of bed so I didn't have to climb. Walked in to town. Bought things. Went home. Bought more things. I walked out of the shop in the pouring rain and stood dumbfounded in the car park staring at my car. It was no longer in it's space. Eejit here forgot to put the handbrake on. Home to bed. Awake now.

    That's what I did today.

i've managed to spill beer on my laptop. beer wasted and laptop possibly messed up. I cleaned it up with the hoover but im afraid it wont survive. The damage is done and sending it back for repairs is really a hassle and may cost me - so double loss. So far its working fine but im quite skeptical :(:(

Up early as usual - went for the daily morning run in the forest with the canine - back home made a nice mix for whole-grain cinnamon swirl bread and popped it in the over - showered - fell into bed for some sex - ran out to the kitchen just in time to get the bread out of the oven - had another very quick shower - dressed - came to work - nibbled on lovely whole-grain cinnamon swirl bread while answering some emails - made this post.

That's about it so far - Some actual work now.

Got up, had a shower and washed my hair, got dressed, ate a chicken fillet roll, went down to see my occupational therapist nd spent about an hour or so going over my options until we were politely asked to leave the Kylemore as they were closing.
Wandered around the Pavillions for a bit, bought some cheap journals in Tiger, hopped on a bus and came home.
Currently sitting at me kitchen table with the laptop posting random ****e and listening to an 80s playlist on Spotify.
