Clutch slave cylinder

    Hi all.
I'm having trouble with the clutch with the last week or so, came out last week and the pedal pushed to the floor and wouldn't return. Checked the reservoir and no fluid or at least v low. I filled it and manually pumped the pedal and it came back to near normal, only thing is after a while of non use it goes back to sticking in and has to be pumped to work again.

I'm looking to bleed the system in the hope that it is just some air that has gotten in. I have a 2011 Corolla diesel, but can't seem to locate the cylinder to bleed it.

Would anyone be able to assist in helping me locate it?

    Thanks.

The slave cylinder is inside the bell housing, there is probably a nipple located outside, if it's leaking you'll have to remove the gearbox for replacement.

That's where I'm thinking it's just air in the system. The reservoir is still topped up and not going down.

Gotta get under it in the morning and see if I can get it tested.
    Thanks

Check for leaks on the brakes as well, it may have a combined reservoir, the fluid is gone somewhere.

It's v strange. No sign of leaks on brakes, the fluid is staying constant now even though the clutch is still giving bother now and again. Just waiting to get it up on a friends lift to get at the bleed nipple. Hope that will sort it.
