Will I Have To Buy A New Router

My ISP is BT and I am operating their Homehub 4. Those of you who know the Homehub will know it has a fixed DNS.

I'm buying a Samsung Smart TV and I know that I can change the DNS on it.

I subscribe to Netflix and a VPN (Getflix) and with my old router I was able to change the DNS and watch all Netflix regions on my old TV via Chromecast

My question is this. If I change the DNS on the Samsung will it override the Homehub and let me change Netflix regions when necessary? Or will I have to dig a little deeper and buy a new router?

If you can change the DNS on a local device then that device will use that DNS regardless of the router settings. You should be OK.
