Southampton have lost their three previous away league games, but have won their last two games which were at home.

Southampton have scored a third of their league goals this season between the 60th and 75th minute.
United have scored over 28% of their goals between 45th and 60th minute and a quarter of their goals from the 75th to 90th minute.

A second half goal fest :P

  • Let's keep the momentum going with a good home win
    Come on utd

What is up with Martial's boots? He is always slipping.

Darmian has been utter muck for weeks now. Really struggling.

Thought martial could have lunged a bit more at that ball.

Pace of the game picking up a little now

That's not something I expect to see from Herrera. Disappointing.

Such a big area between the midfield and attack that nobody gets on the ball in.

Herrera is the only player trying to be dynamic...

    0-0 half time shocker

  • Boos there

Crowd not happy and I don't blame them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That's now 11 successive games we haven't scored in the first half at old Trafford.

That's horrendous and simply not good enough. We are just too easy to defend against.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Mike Jones must have a bit of a thing for Bertrand. Got away with a nailed on booking early on and no corner when the ball deflected off him.

    Woeful stuff all round anyway.

Lot of boos at half time. Also i dont understand the praise Herrera receives on here. He's bang average and cannot turn a game.

Same crap every game. Going to be tough watching the 2nd half.

Not true, although he is not great this game. Can't wait until a manager knows what to do with him next year :)

He tries. He might not be amazing, but he gives off the aura of wanting to push forward and attack, which is more than a lot of players do.

It's a typical United performance today. You may as well not tune in till the second half when we play at OT nowadays...

  • Tec7 add was more entertaining than that half

Saha!! Not seem him on TV in ages

    The first half curse continues

No first half goal at old Trafford in 8 and a half hours!!! Sweet jaysus.

Such entertainment and value for the season ticket holders

Thinks Lingard needs to come off, hasnt been great.

Bring on Januzaj or Depay to see if either could spark abit of life into us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Much better stuff already. Mata looking lively. Need to keep this up now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 479 ✭✭twinex

Tis a different game now methinks....

    Another defender gone. FFS

Thought that was a pretty poor challenge from long there, looking at the replays he knows that he isn't getting the ball and seemed to play the man

Never understand how football deals with mid air collisions. Seems to be fine to murder somebody with your head but tap them in the leg and you get a yellow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

    Is Varela on the bench?

baffling if he is on the bench if a center back is coming on instead of a right back.
