Instant heating options for bathroom

Hoping to do a full bathroom refit this year, and was wondering what people would suggest as a possible instant heating option.

The main bathroom is next to the kids room, and since I work unsociable hours, I can often be showering in the bathroom very early and in the height of winter!

The old fan heaters with pull cord can be noisy, is there anything else I could consider?

Would it be very expensive to install underfloor heating?

Or just set the oil to come on 30mins before I get up?

    How about infra red heaters.
Elec underfloor is expensive to run if u don't have night rate and the best way to stop folk leaving it on, and on, it not to have it

I just replaced my 28 year old infra red with this one, a Honeywell QH-803E from Amazon for around €49, with free delivery, I couldnt source one locally. They are fine for the paupers (4.5/5M2) Bathroom as you are standing reasonably close at all times and have a lovely, almost cherry red glow off them, maybe its because they claim to be a "quartz heater" whatever this means. I have only one small crib and that is the three heat settings have a red background to them but so too has the off position, it should be white/black to differentiate it but the red glow very quickly disappears when it is switced off. I have always had mine switched through a 30 Min mechanical run back timer as they probably wouldnt last for 28 years if one forgets to switch them off, apart from having a rather hot B.Room. The three heat settings are: 600W,1200W & 1800W.
