so i cracked my right shifter bracket

    its an 11 speed ultegra

i wouldnt dare try to repair it myself but am wondering are these things easily repaired to new or would it be better to try and find a new replacement entirely?

being quoted around 115 for new part and labour from reputable bike shop in dub city.

sounds reasonable enough just worried about it not being the best thing to do

It's the top of the main casing for the shifter that's cracked. Much like that in the link there

    Cheers

Can't seem to attach it from my phone. Will do tomorrow. Shifter still works. The top hood part is very wobbly. It's noticeable when pulling the break. Not being very knowledge I thought best to get it looked at rather than continue using it and risk more damage

I broke my right shifter last year, brand new canyon endurance cf9, I was assembling it the morning it arrived and I had it upside down putting on the front wheel when the phone rang, I kicked the shifter and the thing cracked, it still worked but you could push the shifter/brake lever the wrong way, ie, away from the handlebars, there is a big crack in the plastic almost a full break. I super glued it over a few days, kept putting on layers at a time and ordered a new right hand shifter/brake from eBay. Well the glue worked, the new part is still in the drawer so it might be worth trying a fix on it, best of luck with it
