Eircom Socket Dual Faceplate Query

Can someone just confirm something for me quickly?

We had phone line issues and Eircom came and fitted a faceplace on the master socket which now has two sockets - phone and DSL. Obviously this removes the need for the filter that we used to have hanging out of the old single socket.

However am I correct in saying that now all other phone extensions in the house are automatically DSL filtered and not longer require the plug in adaptor?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, assuming they routed the extensions though the CCU (Fitted it correctly) then yes, the rest of the house only get the voice tones, no filters needed.

NB: NTU filters or microfilters cant solve issues with bad handsets so they cant be completely discounted even with the new socket.
