I am looking at changing my car. I have a 2008 I30 at the moment. I have boiled my choice down to 2015 Captur or I30. I can get them for the same money. The wife would prefer the Captur but I am not sure. Can some of you give an opinion please

Captur. i30 is due a refresh during the year which will affect future trade-in.

I should have added the Captur is 1.5 Life diesel and the I30 is 1.4 diesel Classic.

+1. There's too many better alternatives than a Renault of any description.

Maybe if it was 10 plus years ago when they had all the issues but now a days they are as reliable as anything else on the road. I mean an i30 is hardly anything to get excited about.

I'd take the captur op or better again you would get a Megane for less money and they are a rival to the i30 so similar size.

I don't know what your experience had been with the i30, But my experiences with both the i30 and i40 have been horrendous.

I've driven both as company cars, and I wouldn't touch one. I wouldn't even accept one as a rental car.

I've no experience of a renault, but I reckon it couldn't be as bad as any hyundai.

Rubbish. Any Renault post 08/09 can compare well with any make. Added to that, their diesel engines are now top knotch.

Captur is a good bit smaller than the i30 though.

Have a 152 Signature Captur with the EDC box and am happy with.

The Signature is the model with the heated seats etc.

First time ever bought a Renault but if you want an auto, your choices diminish very rapidly.

Last tank went for 885KM. Computer is reporting 20km per litre which is 5L / 100Km.

The Rlink radio does email etc even when roaming.
