What would be the best combo of products to use on a Black car to make it look very slick/glossy? I'm thinking machining in Blacklight and Waxing it with something to make it pop, not sure what finishing product to use though?

I'm not sure of the difference between those to be honest!

Blacklight and Pete's53 is a nice combo!
But given that your paintwork is in pretty good condition, and it will be prep'd well, if you arent considering durability as a factor, something like Butter Wet Wax, or a similar soft paste wax would give some very nice gloss.

I've had some on the Detailing Addicts FB page mention ODK Concours as being a very good one for it, will have a look at Blacklight and Pete's 53.

ODK Concours would be very nice, as would ODK Glamour, which is their 'show stopper', but durability wouldnt be overly amazing, but decent for a product that is designed solely to be bling!

Going to try some blacklight and their v07 soon if the weather ever calms down. I'll let ye know how I get on.

Blacklight & Petes53 is a great combo on black cars. V07 on top of that looks well but i found the water beading to be terrible. So now i use the V07 on my wheels where i'm not too bothered about durability or beading

I also have a bottle of collinite, but thought i'd try the v07 first.

While the Blacklight and V07 will look quite well, it won't offer too much protection. Pictures you often see of people using them as a combo are from places that cars would only ever get a light dusting. Our roads and weather are too bad. If V07 has more durabilty that would get you from wash to wash so you could get it a light misting and buff in each time then you might get away with it, but V07 will only last a few days in bad weather.

I'll put the collinite on after the blacklight. Who needs to lift their arms above their head? Not me!

Tried the Blacklight and V07 combo when it first hit Ireland.
    Never thought much of it.

Bought a black car in December and was going to order blacklight today to give it a try.

Quick question can I use meguiars deep crystal carnauba wax over it (have a full bottle at home) or should I just get petes53 as well?

There will be no problem using it over the Blacklight. But if both the Deep Crystal and Pete's53 are good for 3-4 months durability, applying Deep Crystal over Blacklight may not last quite the expected time; it may not bond as well as the Pete's53 would. On the other hand it might. ..just with using products from the same manufacturer they are designed to combo well together.

Thanks I think I'll give the Deep Crystal a go. If It doesn't last I'll get Petes53 for the next time.
