    Folks,

The rubber around the car arial has become cracked:

Any ideas/suggestions on how I'd go about repairing it?

I'd like to repair the rubber somehow, rather than just slapping on a bunch of duck tape.

The rubber is perished, dunno that its actually repairable. I had the same thing, fixed it by...slapping on a bunch of duct tape.

If you really dont want to go that route, your local motor factors probably have replacements for €10-€20

Does it not just twist off and you can buy another one from Ebay or main dealer? Wouldn't be worth attempting a repair, the rubber is perished.

Yeah, a new antenna is probably what you need. What car is it?

Possibly sugru would do the job, but might work out as same cost as a new aerial

A quick look on Amazon shows some aerials that might fit
