Hi, we're thinking of heading out to the sun maybe in May with our little man (age 3), can anybody recommend somewhere that has good child facilities and near a beach, that is not a long flight from Ireland too.
    Thanks

    Hi
I have read your post .The best place to go on a sun holiday with a young child is Faro The Algarve. It has everything from beaches to lots of bars and restauranta and best of all its extremely child friendly. There is everything from kids pools to kids clubs in the hotels and every restaurant has a childrens menu and play areas. The fishing village of Arbeurfia is the best place for a young family as there is everything from sweet shops to kids activities and it is only a 2 and a half hour flight which is great if youre travelling with a small child. May is also definitely the best time to go with a small child as its not too hot or too busy yet and it is also cheaper as its in the low season. Try looking up Aer Lingus or Ryanair first to check flights and then whichever is cheaper book with them. Then for accommodation look up trivago and check out hotels in Faro and whichever are both value for money and family friendly book them.
Good Luck and I hope everything goes well
