Hi all . Maybe a stupid queskon but i planned to do the eindscreen with this today.
Windscreen is filthy so should i wash the bulk of the dirt off first before polishing and ( given its spitting rain) does the glass need to be dry to put it on
    Thanks

Yes, clean the windscreen to the best you can first. And yes, best case would be dry when applying.

Get as much dirt off the windscreen using glass cleaner and a cloth or even newspaper. Wipe it dry and turn on the fan to help. Apply 4 small drops of glass polish to an applicator pad and wipe onto the glass. Don't put too much on otherwise it'll just be a waste.

Turn on the fan again to help it dry and wait until it's gone completely white before buffing off. Turn to a clean side of the cloth for a final wipe. It's important to either wear gloves when doing this or don't let your hand touch the glass because it'll leave a mark on an otherwise pristine screen. Also don't use that cloth on anything as the dist will stick to plastic etc. and will discolour black plastic.

Clean the glass with a damp cloth first don't soak the area as if you wet the seals you'll be pulling the water from there out onto the glass you're trying to dry which is a PITA. Yes you can use glass Polish on wet glass but make sure you don't let it dry for too long or too short. AG glass Polish is a hell of a product and is my first glass Polish before moving to autosmart glass glow.

    MF Cloth
warm water and a couple of drops of fairy liquid.
Clean interior of screen a couple of times with damp mf cloth and fairy liquid. ( Just a tiny drop on the mf.

Rinse with squeezed out mf cloth and clear water.
Dry with a household T Cloth.
