Mechanic for car inspection, south Dublin

    Hello,

    I'm just about to buy a 3 series through a private sale in Dublin.

    My normal mechanic is wicklow based and can't get up to Dublin next week, can anyone recommend an indy mechanic to give the car a once over before the sale completes?

    South county dublin ideally.

    I needed a car in a hurry last year and sourced a private sale in Dublin ( I live in Wexford) found a crowd called Cityfix Autopoint. €50 for a call out anywhere in South Dublin, they were bang on time, did a full computer diagnostic and mechanical check and gave the owner a right grilling about services etc.Found them very good.Cant post a link for some reason but just google them

    Just to be clear, i used them once over a year ago and have no affiliation to them whatsoever

    Julian "Jules" Chambers (sandyford motorworks/ chambers performance)(087) 413 0652. He is excellent and has all the diagnostic tools. I know him a very long time and he does all ranges of cars.
