My parents have a copy of James Joyce Dubliners 1944 edition. what would it be worth and how would you get the best price for it? the cover appears to have used second hand paper, apparantly due to shortage of paper during the war. the inside of the cover has text from another publication.

    Thanks

That's not much information to go on, but with the book in front of you try searching Abebooks: http://www.abebooks.co.uk

It's probably not worth very much. :)

It is probably not worth a lot. Your book was printed 30 years after the first edition. It will have a curiosity value due to the cover, but those type covers are not that rare either sadly.
If it is in absolutely mint condition then perhaps €50?
