Truly, Madly, Deeply is going to get a rewatch tonight. It's a proper weepie at the best of times, but will be very poignant now.

What a fabulous actor, I would never have said he was a "favourite" actor of mine but he made every movie so much better by his presence.

    "... and cancel Christmas".

He always played them a little bit camp for me to be honest, but a fine actor none the less.

    RIP.

    Ended a bit soon though...

More sad news and another genuinely talented performer passes away.

He had an unbelievable ability to play bad guys. As much as I loved him playing Dev in Micheal Collins, his Hans Gruber in Die Hard was flawless. RIP

Genuinely saddened by this and my thoughts go out to his wife and family who must be devastated by the loss. His Sheriff will forever be the only Sheriff of Nottingham there could ever be.

Saw him on telly a few months ago. Seemed a genuinely nice person. Incidentally, he seemed to have an affinity with Irish theater and actors working with them regularly.

    Glazers Out!

    Bastard cancer.

Rickman was just endlessly watchable in anything him and that voice popped up in. Played one of the best villains as Hans Gruber.

Ah well this has just put a right dampener on things :( jaysus... as a massive (to the point it's probably not healthy) fan of Harry Potter, he was the perfect Snape, a great actor and seemed like a very nice person. RIP!

Not Hans Gruber / Prof Snape / De Valera!!!!

    Great actor!!!

    RIP

Death has been a tad busy since the start of the year!
