Recommend a mountain bike ~€500

    Can anybody recommend a mountain bike in the region of €500?

    I would be using it mainly off road on trails I imagine. Weight of the bike not an issue since I'm well overweight myself! Not an experienced cyclist at all,looking for a low impact exercise to do an this could be a good option for the mix.

    Bikeradar did a feature on bikes under £500 so around your budget. Might give you some ideas.

    got an Orbea MX 20 29er for ~600 late last year. lovely MTB.
    get a Rockshox fork if you can and Deore components.
