Unfortunately for most retailers they have to agree rates with couriers based on the potential size of the majority of their orders....so their average order size might be 5 or 6 bottles, a couple of kg.
Did you try contact them and request if they can ship it at a better rate?
Also, what would pay in petrol for your return trip, if collection was an option?
