    Hi All,

Flying with WOW for the first time in April. I got decent prices to Iceland from Dublin. I opted for the free hand luggage allowance....5kg! I think I am so used to flying Ryanair that I know I can fill my suitcase and also get my handbag on too each time.

Do WOW weigh each bag? I guess its easier for them to do so as you have to check in at the desk. I know you can bring a duty free bag on too so maybe I will buy something small and then ask for a big bag and put anything I need to get on into that!

And yes...I understand I agreed to the 5KG limit but there is generally wiggle-room with most airlines.

    Any recent experiences with WOW?

i flew with Wow recently. there is no online check in so you have to go to desk. they weighed mine, I'd paid for 12kg total. was prob 1-2kg over but no issue. same on way back. I believe they are quite strict on 1 piece, heard them announce that for another flight to Paris.

I flew with Wow to Reykjavik last September. I don't recall them weighing hand luggage. The flight was pretty pleasant and I found the staff friendly.

    Hi all,

Does anyone have a promo code for Wow airlines or is there such a thing?
    Much thanks!

Flew to Iceland last summer with Wow from Dublin and I have to say the hand luggage rule was a joke in that nobody was enforcing it. I saw people bring heavy suitcases on board and nothing was said! As for the flight it was very pleasant, extremely good value for money and I would recommend them. The seats are very comfortable and you can pick rows which have larger areas for leg room too.

    Hi there,
Thinking about using them to fly to San Francisco. I was going to just bring a North Face backpack as my hand luggage, I wonder is that over the limit of what they will accept?

    Thanks,
    Mark
