Anybody know of agri consultants who would complete derogation forms cheaper than teagasc. They are currently billing me for €400 for just 80 acres and 55 cows. Thats all I need them for as I do own single farm payment

Had to finish forms for exporting slurry to keep under 170 just before christmas and private planner said he would be looking for around 600 first year + 2-300 per year thereafter for dero

I think I will look for someone to take slurry off me again (although it was a bit of a job getting someone)

If ya can get a tillage lad near you and export instead of dero it may be cheaper!!

    Why not apply for derogation?

Do you need a planner to apply for derogation?
Agree on steep fees, seams to be set price no matter scale

No I will, ( I wanted to last feb as well but planner said sher twill be grand wait and see) but Op was saying Teagase were ripping him off with 400 for dero and was looking to see how much a private planner would charge and I was just saying my private was going to charge 600 for 1st year - must try teagasc;)

No dero deffo is the easiest way alright - unless you can find someone who sells silage nearby and has no stock to import from you
(and hopefully he can make 75dmd bales for me as well and drop em up to me for 20squids each:D)

I think need a planner to do the derogation plan. Its better done by an Ag graduate because its a bit tricky. but teagasc include the Single Farm Payment Application as part of the service for the price which is simple and I can do myself but they have one price no matter what the size or no matter how complicated or simple that it is.
