I only use frontline - you need to get them from the vets cost around €12 every 3 months

OP does your dog actually have fleas? I don't use anything on my two - if and when they ever get fleas then I'll call to the vet for something.

For the girlfriends dog, think she has fleas at the moment as far as I know (dog not the girlfriend. Although she has been in a mood for the last few days..)

More information is needed OP... a dog wouldn't be a in "mood" if they had fleas.

what seems to be the actual issue with her dog?

I need to get some more information to be honest, my girlfriend lives abroad in South America and as far as I know the dog seems to be attracting a lot of fleas, they've tried different powders and shampoos from there, and wanted to see if there's anything on sale over here which would be perhaps more effective. I'm not an expert, but I told her I'd ask and see what was recommended/used by people here.

Cheers for all the replies so far guys!
