If wet and really bad if you have a wet/vac use it.

Let it dry vacuum then get upholstery cleaner and get cleaning.

Feel your pain my 3year old is very good at wrecking the back of my a4.

If it was me I'd be inclined to remove say the big bits that you can leave the rest to dry.

Take out what carpets when you can and give them a good going over with hot water and an interior shampoo.

I'm no expert I'm sure Curran and the other guys will give you some proper advice and tips though.

sound lads , took out the big chunky bits , leave the small particles to the morning , i could ask the sister to pay for a full interior valet but im not that bad a Samaritan :) lol il take out the carpets when the muck is dryed in and go at them . any special shampoo ? just want something with a good clean and good fragrance :)

Personally I like autoglym interior shampoo good stuff not over powering .

One of the best tips I got of Dave was to buy a George wet dry vacuum cleaner great piece of kit to have on hand when you need it.

That might be a bit over the top in your case but always have family looking to use it or myself when the poor daughter gets car sick.

yeah autoglym is good :) il be honest dont have time to order off websites so anything fancier is out of bounds lol :) prob with a vac is i live on a main street and cant reach the car its a nightmare :)

on a side note : if i was to wet ( not soak) my floor/seats and shampoo them would a wet/dry vacumm pic up most of moisture ?

Best bet would probably put the heaters or ac on for a few hours help it dry it out quickly.

That and a couple of the moisture trap from the likes of dealz help take the moisture out of the car.

I'm sure the vac would pick up some of the moisture frommy own experience only used the George when I have properly washed the interior.

I'm positive when Curran or vectra see this and reply you be guided correctly, they have vast more experience and knowledge than myself.

Pick up some upholstery cleaner. Spray on, agitate with a nail brush, and pat with a microfiber to draw out the dirt. Let dry and then vacuum.

Here is a before and after of the chair my little fella uses at the dining table - mashed in Weetabix and God knows what else!

Chemical Guys Fabric Clean; about 10% out of the bottle into a spare spray bottle, topped up with water. Sprayed on, agitated, patted with microfiber. Had to repeat it a second time to get it 100% and then left to dry.
Did the other 3 chairs, which just needed a light going over, and only used about a 1/3 of the spray bottle!

This is one of the best cleaning products I have ever used for carpets etc.

Yeah, Surfex HD is a great all rounder - fantastic degreaser too, but given its water based, its safe on almost everything!! Handy one for around the house! :)
