Any ideas with channel problem

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem I lost all my sky channels I just have rte1/2, tv3, bbc's film 4 channel 5, utv, etc but no sky channels

I'm wondering would my dish have moved in the wind, I think the satellite is called the astra 2, could I be picking up another satellite giving me the basic channels.

Would this cause the problem or is the dish that sensetive.

Any help or ideas much appreciated.

Thanks for reply, it just says no signal but I've everything else just not one sky channel

Quick question just to rule out something. Is it an actual Sky box you are using?
If it is a Sky box then it sounds like entitlements have ran out on the card and you need to contact Sky.
If it's not a Sky box then we probably can't help here as we're not allowed but a reboot usually helps fix most technical problems l.

No signal would have nothing to do with entitlements on the card.

Lnb I'll wager. Happened a neighbor of mine a few months back.

Check to see if your card is in correctly. If it's upside down or back to front you will only receive the free to air channels which are some of the ones you listed.

Edit: just saw you have the Irish stations which aren't fta unless you have saorview.
