Hi, Im 19 and soon i will be officially dropped out of college. I'll probably be going back in september to do a different course. Im currently living at home with my parents. They dont want to support me financially other than letting me live at home and until i can find a job i plan to sign on to claim jobseekers allowance. my friends who have been on it say I will get 100E a week however I have also read that it is means- tested. my parents are self-employed and I'd guesstimate that their net income is somewhere around 100k. Does this affect me being able to claim jobseekers allowance? is it possible that I'll be entitled to nothing?

If your parents income is 2000 per week then you won't get any SW
