Bosch washing machine. Lights on but no one is home

    Woke today to Bosch excel machine stopped mid cycle and the display while back light is on is blank and none of the control buttons are responding to touch.

    I think control panel may be gone? My question is, if a need repair is it better to go with Bosch despite being out of warantee a year or call a generic repair service that covers Bosch?
