Just recently noticed that we have no hot water even if the gas boiler has been on, gas boiler is working fine as regards heating rads, its been there since 1997, earlier in the year we had a radiator replaced by a plumber
We dont actually use a lot of hot water out of the tap, just noticed it since the cooler weather set in
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Have you zone valves?. If so check that the zone valve for the hot water cylinder is opening. Also check the cylinder thermostat - turn on you controller and turn the thermostat from fully up to fully down, you should see or hear the zone valve opening and closing.

There also could be a manual valve on the inlet to the heating coil in the cylinder. Has anyone messed with it?.

No clue tbh, system would have had to be drained to replace the rad I assume, is there anything the plumber may have forgot to do once new rad was fitted that would cause this?

Only thing I can think of is that he closed the valve on the heating coil on the cylinder and forgot to open it.
