Already mentioned my thoughts on the Welsh national in the other thread. But do people not think that Stuccodor is the bet of the day in the 2:40 at 7/2? Yes, it has gone 5 times without winning over hurdles, but surely tomorrow represents the best chance this one has at winning a maiden. Will absolutely take to the heavy ground, has bags of experience at this level, has the benefit of a run over the flat, so there should be no fitness excuses (unlike the Mullins runner which has been off the track for 2 years). Toady Martin's horse could be anything, as could the Ryanair horse. Value surely lies with Stuccodor at 7/2.

I'm liking the look of Mountainous in the 13.45 Welsh National. Heavy ground will suit, got him at 10's but think he's at 9's now.

Couldn't have Stuccodor with stolen money. You've just listed 3 horses in the race that could be anything (although the drift on Tony Martins says whats expected of him) so don't know how you could reckon he's value having shown absolute nil over hurdles so far. Off 123 he should be in a handicap now a maiden hurdle

Blast of Koeman is the interesting one in that race

Agree with you regarding Stuccodor and Blast.

Blast of Koeman finished 6th in a good bumper and a nice few that finished behind it have gone on to win since.

Stuccodor has disappointed a few times and at long odds on too.

think the Mullins horse will be hard to beat myself if retaining some of it's ability, it was a serious bumper horse and hacked up at the Galway festival beating some decent horses, obviously the fact he's been of the track for a good while is a serious concern but i'd still have the belief that this fella could be anything

    Tea Gown 3.40 Lingfield
Into a grade 5 here, poor run last time when slowly into strike losing it's chance
before it got going. I think this is a generous price on the back of that bad run.
It's a weaker contest, it has had 3 decent showing on turf previous to it's last run. I think there is enough there to suggest it can put on a decent performance against this group.

    1pt ew 16-1

Gonna go with Elusive Ivy here in the next at Punchestown. Got word for it but take it or leave it in this race.

For cryin' out loud! You back him, he loses; you don't look at him, he wins.

Don't know the horses he beat but visually that was very impressive. As good as I've seen for a while.
