Girlfriend has two electronic fob key for her car but neither of them are working. I thought it maybe a case that the battery in the fob was gone but the fact that neither of them works suggest there was another issue. The car was left idle for the last 10 days as we were on holidays and we could not unlock the car when we came home these evening

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated

    Make?

Dead battery in the car would be most likely issue.

Most cars have a manual way of opening the door in the event the fob doesn't work. The fob probably has a key blade in it and there is a manual lock on the door concealed somewhere on the door handle.

Of course providing the make, model and year will allow people to offer further help.
