Closing claim to avoid paying overpayment

I left a jobbridge internship last month as I will be starting a new job in 2 weeks. However I was paid my top up a few weeks after I left and it will now be reduced from my €100. If I close my claim now instead of waiting until I start my job will I have to pay back the money that I owe to the state?

The next time you apply for something you will have to pay it or any other overpayments back be it next month next year or 50 years time
