Probably interested in the new AP2s but CBs look great as well - anyone hit them yet?

All new gear looks great, but don't expect any tangible increase in performance, it's the same gear as last year(or last 5 years), just rebranded and rehashed.

I seen the MOI of the 716CB's are the same as the 714 AP2's. Held both but that's as far as I got, really nice clubs.

Absolutely - been reading the reviews over on golfwrx but don't think any fitters have anything less than the 5 iron.

Talk that they're more forgiving than the new AP2s but you'd have to take the risk ordering them. Very scaldy also ie €200 odd per iron.

So you've hit them and seen no difference?
I've tried them v the 714 and saw an increase in balls speed, particularly with toes strikes, Which are my Achilles Heel.
I gotta say the AP1"s are sooo user friendly.

A lot more user friendly than they look.
    but pricey as you say.

What does user friendly really mean?
I play TM mc 2011 irons off 15hcp I love the feel of them. I am considering going more forgiving this year but for me more forgiving is getting rid of my 6 iron hook that raises it's ugly head now and again. I'm guessing more forgiving irons won't fix that.

In the case of the t-mbs I think the forgiveness is on off centre strikes heel, toe, high or low on the face, potentially more forgiving than the AP2s - considering they have mb looks that's pretty impressive

So similar distance across the face for off center hits but I suppose if the face is close you can still hook or slice no matter how forgiving the iron is...

I meant they are more forgiving than they look. They look very blades like at addressing but don't play like a blade/MC.

Anyone played the AP1's 716? Interested to hear how you've found them.

I'm thinking about the AP1's over the AP2's as there a little more forgiving. Both
    look stunning clubs.
