Family travelling to Tenerife in July, self-catering

    Hi,

    Planning on travelling to Tenerife in the middle of July with 2 adults (including myself) and 3 teenagers. Would like to hear about the best places for self-catering apartments that are in a good central location to amenities, towns, restaurants etc.

    Anybody have any recommendations or experiences?

    All advice appreciated

    We have stayed in Marola park apartments which is a good location centre between two restorts and in an area with a few local Spanish places.
    The apartments get good reviews and were very good size and spotless.
    There was a good pool also. We did not have kids but there was lots of families there.
    We would also have stayed in Paloma beach apartments in Los Christianos which I feel would be a little away from the action with kids.
    Also there was a bus stop outside Marola park that you could travel up and down the coast for a few euros. The apartments next doo were cheaper I cannot remember their names but I did look in to them and they seemed good also
