P45 for ongoing, casual work?

    Hi,

I've been working since about 2013 on a very, very casual basis in a restaurant, i.e I might only work two or three days in the entire year.

I do other work for the owner (nanny) and I do this on a weekly basis. I think he has it "on the books", which doesn't bother me.

Now, my issue is the Medical Card people want either a P45 or a wage slip. I have neither.

Even if I was to find a pay slip from the work in the restaurant, it's literally just the paper torn from the Hours Book multiplied by my pay. I don't get any form of wage slips or anything for the nannying work, just cash into my hand.

I have offered to give them a P21 but this apparently won't do. I'm a full time, 20 yo student that still lives with my parents. I make less than 10k a year on the nannying gig.

    Can anyone please help? Thanks!
