    Hi,

    I'm hoping I can get some advice here. First up I am not really car minded :cool:, I have always driven VW Golf PLus just because they were reliable etc.

    I changed my job about 6 months ago to a sales job - I don't get a car but I do get expenses and mileage. I have being using my golf up to now which has been fine. Now, after figuring out I like the job and I'm going to keep at it I'd like to change my car.

    I drive a territory of 4 counties - about 100 - 150 km per day. $ days per week sometimes 5.

    I imagine I need something diesel, in good nick, from a dealer so I get some back up in terms of service?

    A lot of my colleagues drive VW Passats so maybe one of those or I like (just because I am familiar with a friends one) Audis - the estate ones or the A6.

    I'm not too worried about age but need to consider engine size and insurance.


    I want to spend up to 8k maybe a bit more. Anybody got any advice for me? There seems to be lots of A6/ Estates/ Passats on Carzone etc.

    you need something decent size, comfortable with cruise control and yes diesel with the km's you are racking up. Skodas, vw, bmw 3 or 5 series or audi a4 or a6 could be worth a look...
