I know we have an Argos thread, but I think these lads deserve their own. AFAIK they can be used individually or daisy-chained.

Available in green and orange for €9.99.

    Purple are €11.99.

Gun Metal, Blue, and Red are all €14.99.

    How do you daisy-chain them?

There's an input on each one. So connect the first to your phone using the lead, then attach the second to the first's input, third to the second's, and so on.

    X-mini Stereo

On the link in the op it says .they need rechargable batteries but doesnt mention anything about what size are needed.
Can any one who got one confirm which size batteries, if any, are needed.
    Thanks

Based on the online reviews the batteries are in-built and re-charge from USB.

Yup. Built in rechargeable batteries charged by USB.

Last for ages they do too.

Picked one of the green sets up in Cork yesterday. Surprised by the build and sound quality. Can't really go wrong for €10!

Oh yeah....pick up a set and never even thanked the OP!

Gutted I am. Truly gutted! ;)

They're a mighty little yoke. I'd imagine there's be no problem buy 2 sets and connecting all 4 together.

Sorry about that! :D. I'm tempted to get another set...mainly for the novelty of connecting them all together!

Picked up gun metal in Wexford today, really delighted with sound and €11.49 so even cheaper than I thought. Thanks op.

Argos site is off-line now, launching new catalogue.

Looks like they're gone from the new catalogue. None of those codes work any more and the only X-Mini returned in a search of the argos site is 15 quid for one speaker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭Soarer

They're still on the Argos UK site if it's of any use to anyone.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 713 ✭✭✭Edward Hopper

They are back on Irish website again. Now gunmetal grey is a tenner as well as orange and green. Great little speakers for the money.

Should probably be unmarked as expired now.

Yep, I got the last Gunmetal pair in Tallaght for 9.99 yesterday.
