Just wondering what a normal price for this should be?

I've been quoted just shy of 150 which seems high, but maybe it's completely fair. I just don't know what it should be.

This is in South Dublin, happy to take recommendations of anyone can suggest a better place. Thanks.

I know the vet I use (south Dublin) charges 15 euro for microchip insertion plus it's 15 euro to register it. Booster costs about 50 euro. That'd be 160 in total for 2 cats so I guess you've been given a fair price (maybe a tenner discount cos they can both be done in same visit?).

If the booster includes feline leukaemia (FeLV) then that's bang on.

I have used Cara Vet in the past for getting more than one dog chipped/booster. If you call them they will often give you a cheaper price. They also do 10% discount on vaccinations on Thursdays.
