    Hi,

Looking at flights to lanzarote for April/ May and wondering if I'm best to book now or will Ryanair/ Are lingus have any sales in coming month. Would prefer to have something booked by mid Feb at the latest as my GF will have a heart attack otherwise !!!

There's a flash sale on at the moment on Ryanair.

To be honest, as someone who visits Lanzarote annually, you may be as well to book when/if you can afford it and not worry too much about price beyond that.

Given the popularity, prices rarely fluctuate too much and even more rarely drop too much, if at all. I'm currently monitoring prices for travel in July, can't pay until February at the earliest, but I'm pretty much nailed on for dates, so I'm not expecting to get any sort of bargain.

Just a little tip to extract the best bang for buck on your holiday - if there's not much difference in price on Aer Lingus and Ryanair and, if you don't have any issues with getting to the airport at stupid o'clock in the morning, you can effectively give yourself an extra day of holiday by taking the Ryanair flight out at 06:15, arriving at 10:20ish and then departing on the Aer Lingus Flight at 20:00.

Ryanair's flash present sale seems to be similar to the past Aer Lingus sales.
I have been comparing prices on both sites this past week for various Spanish airports for next June and Ryanair were coming up considerably more expensive nearly every time.
Checked There website last night when the flash sale was announced and could see no difference tbh.
Ended up buying flights for the family to Alicante in June with Aer Lingus for €136 each and same flight dates with Ryanair were €168.
