Ho , what condition is the brake surface in , is there any sign of any of the spoke nipples pulling through ( remove rim tape and check ) .
Are you ever up in the Dublin / Kildare area

Hi sullzz & h_orse,

I just took the tryres off and there's no sign of spoke nipples pushing through the rim tape. I'm hesitant to take off the rim tape, as I haven't done it before and I don't want to damage it / not be able to replace it.

The breaking surface looks good, there's no buckeling, or rubbing of the brakes.

I'm never outside Cork and work weekends, so driving very far wouldn't be suitable.

Can't make it to Dublin I'm afraid.
